#65 - Indianapolis, Ben Jones-Center, Georgia
Jones grades out well and is not as big a reach as you may expect for a team that needs to replace long-time center Jeff Saturday who is a free agent.
#66 - St. Louis, Mohamed Sanu-Wide Receiver, Rutgers (underclassman)
If the Rutgers underclassman is still around in the 3rd round expect the Rams to rush to the selection table to immediately upgrade their receiving corps.
#67 - Minnesota, Jared Crick-Defensive End/Defensive Tackle, Nebraska
Crick has some injury concerns which drops him down to Round 3 but the Vikings need quality across their new look defensive line and Crick is worth the risk here.
#68 - Dallas (from Cleveland), Ronnell Lewis-Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Oklahoma
Lewis is excellent value for the Cowboys and will help their ailing pass rush.
#69 - Tampa Bay, LaMichael James-Running Back, Oregon
The Bucs have LaGarrette Blount but Heismann Trophy winner James will add another dimension to Tampa Bay’s running game.
#70 - Washington, Bobby Massie-Offensive Tackle, Mississippi
Massie fits the bill as far as prototype size is concerned but is still very raw. We think the Redskins will be comfortable taking a chance on the Mississippi tackle.
#71 - New England (from Jacksonville), Trumaine Johnson-Cornerback, Montana
The Pats were hit hard by injuries last season that saw WR Julian Edelman filling in on defense by the end of the season. One area that needs depth is corner and Trumaine Johnson has the size and speed to become a starter in the league.
#72 - Buffalo, Brian Quick-Wide Receiver, Appalachian State
If Johnson didn’t just go to rival New England then the Montana corner may’ve been the pick. Instead the Bills go the other side of the ball and get a genuine target opposite Stevie Johnson in the aptly named Quick.
#73 - Miami, Kirk Cousins-Quarterback, Michigan State
#74 - Miami (from Carolina), George Iloka-Free Safety, Boise State
Miami need a free safety and Iloka is the top rated one on the board, a simple choice.
#75 - Kansas City, Brock Osweiler-Quarterback, Arizona State
The next run on Quarterback’s has started and 6-7 Osweiler is going to provide long-term competition to current starter Matt Cassel.
#76 - Seattle, Billy Wynn-Defensive End/Defensive Tackle, Boise State
The Seahawks get a good player that can help in multiple fronts here.
#77 - Houston (from Philadelphia), Brandon Brooks-Offensive Guard, Miami (Ohio)
The top rated player left on the board in a position of need makes this a great pick for Houston.
#78 - New York Jets, Brandon Boykin-Cornerback, Georgia
The Jets secondary was surprisingly poor in 2011, Boykin adds much needed depth and may turn into a solid number 2 next to Darrelle Revis.
#79 - San Diego, Mychal Kendricks-Inside Linebacker, California
The Chargers need help inside and Kendricks is probably good value at #79
#80 - Chicago, Greg Childs-Wide Receiver, Arkansas
Another player with the prototype speed and skill where off-field issues has affected his draft grade. The Bears may be willing to take a chance as their receiving corps needs an overhaul.
#81 - Arizona, Casey Hayward-Cornerback, Vanderbilt
Defensive Backs have never been more in fashion than today’s modern game where the Nickel package is seen more and more often. Hayward is certainly worthy of nickel corner position for the Cardinals.
#82 - Dallas, Demario Davis-Outside Linebacker, Arkansas State
With the Cowboys having 2 picks in the 3rd round they use their 2nd on a prospect in Demario Davis who has the raw attributes and could solidify (with Ronnell Lewis) their pass rush.
#83 - Cleveland (from Tennessee), Mitchell Schwartz-Offensive Tackle, California
Schwartz is seemingly good value here and will battle for the starting right tackle spot from training camp.
#84 - Cincinnati TRADE with New Orleans, Tyrone Crawford-Defensive End, California
Needs: ROT, DE, DL, OL, DB - BNQ=4.8
With the Saints losing their 2nd round pick and giving up their first last year it is imperative they trade up for Crawford who is excellent value at #84 and in a position of need.
#85 - Atlanta, Orson Charles-Tight End, Georgia
The Falcons like to take need and have little option unless they can find a trade partner as they need a replacement for Tony Gonzalez at tight end.
#86 - Detroit, Bernard Pierce-Running Back, Temple (underclassman)
It seems incredible but the Lions still need a running back despite multiple high level picks in recent years on the position. Will the Temple junior finally be the answer in Detroit?
#87 - Pittsburgh, Sean Spence-Outside Linebacker, Miami (Fla.)
Spence is projected as a 4-3 Outside Linebacker but Pittsburgh see him playing inside in their 3-4 to help fill a need there.
#88 - Denver, Ronnie Hillman-Running Back, San Diego State (underclassman)
He is only a sophomore but Hillman has raw talent and can sit behind Willis McGahee for a year or two to learn the position better.
#89 - Philadelphia (from Houston), Nigel Bradham-Outside Linebacker, Florida State
This 6-2 linebacker out of Florida State is exactly the prototype that Andy Reid is looking for.
#90 - Cincinnati (from New Orleans), Dwight Bentley-Cornerback, La.-Lafayette
They already snapped by Dre Kirkpatrick in the first round but Bentley will be another welcome addition to the Bengals secondary in 2012.
#91 - Green Bay, Markelle Martin-Free Safety, Oklahoma State
The Packers may go RB or TE here but with one of the worst defenses this year they take Martin who may be a week 1 starter.
#92 - Baltimore, Brandon Mosley-Offensive Tackle, Auburn
Not sure if Mosley will fall this far but if so he is a gift to the Ravens O-Line.
#93 - San Francisco TRADE with New Orleans, Mike Martin-Defensive Tackle, Michigan
The Saints sneak in ahead of the Pats to take the top rated player left on the board i Mike Martin.
#94 - New England TRADE with Pittsburgh, Alameda Ta’amu-Nose Tackle, Washington
The Steelers get back into the 3rd round to pick up Ta’amu who may develop into their long term Nose Tackle.
#95 - New York Giants, James Brown-Offensive Tackle, Troy
The Giants still look to upgrade their O-Line with this prospect out of Troy.
#96 - Oakland (Compensatory Pick), Brandon Washington-Offensive Guard, Miami
Needs: FS, CB, OT, OG - BNQ=3.1
The Raiders feel highly enough about Guard Brandon Washington to pull the trigger ahead of upgrading their secondary just now.
