Mock Draft 2012 1st Round (Free Agency edition)

Latest Mock Draft with a host of changes...

#1 - Indianapolis, Andrew Luck QB, Stanford (underclassman)
Needs: QB, CB, OC, OT - BPA vs Need Quotient=5.7
With Peyton Manning going to Denver, Luck is as sure as it goes for the top spot.

#2 - Washington (from St. Louis), Robert Griffin III-Quarterback, Baylor
Needs: QB, RB, CB, ROT, WR - BNQ=5.8
The Redskins have made the trade and RGIII is going to Washington.

#3 Minnesota, Morris Claiborne-Cornerback, LSU (underclassman)
Needs: CB, DB, DT, WR, OL - BNQ=2.7
The Vikings want to trade this pick and have upgraded at tackle during free agency which leaves the choice between WR Justin Blackmon and CB Morris Claiborne. A cleaner pick we lean towards Claiborne, but it is only a slight lean.

#4 Cleveland, Trent Richardson-Halfback, Alabama (underclassman)
Needs: QB, ROT, RB, WR, DB - BNQ=4.0
The Browns could reach for Ryan Tannehill but it seems more likely they will take their chances with Richardson. Kalil is another option but with 5 time pro bowler Joe Thomas at left tackle it may be an overpay for a right tackle.

Mock Draft 2012 1st Round (Post Combine edition)

#1 - Indianapolis, Andrew Luck QB, Stanford (underclassman)
Needs: CB, DT, OT, QB - BPA vs Need Quotient=5.7
Andrew Luck, No #1. With Manning gone it is officially official.

#2 - St Louis, TRADE with Miami, Robert Griffin III-Quarterback, Baylor
Needs: ROT, DE, OL, TE, FS - BNQ=3.4
The rumours are rife that someone will deal with Jeff Fisher and St Louis for a host of draft picks to ensure RGIII heads their way. We like Miami to make a play but Washington, Kansas City and Seattle are also in the mix.

#3 Minnesota, Morris Claiborne-Cornerback, LSU (underclassman)
Needs: CB, DB, DT, LOT, WR - BNQ=2.7
Minnesota reached last year to get Ponder and may go back to the well for Justin Blackmon or look to Matt Kalil for protection. Right now we still have them taking Claiborne but don't be surprised if that changes in the upcoming weeks.

Mock Draft 2012 2nd Round (Post Combine edition)

#33 - St. Louis, Nick Perry-Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, USC
It’s not a need pick but Perry being there on day two made it an easy option and new coach Jeff Fisher can certainly use a man of his abilities.

#34 - Indianapolis, Kendall Reyes-Defensive Tackle, Connecticut
The Colts need a defensive tackle and Reyes stock is climbing enough to have him on the fringe of the first round, seems like a good match.

#35 - Minnesota, Alshon Jeffery-Wide Receiver, Notre Dame
Jeffery is a prestigious talent and could be just what new QB Christian Ponder needs. can the Vikings keep Jeffery on the straight and narrow which is the biggest concern for most teams looking at the receiver.
