The first thing we do here at mocknfldrafts.blogspot.com is use our predictor for the remainder of the season to see what order the draft will be picked. Unlike most mock drafts that just use current league standings, mocknfldrafts.blogspot.com gives a more realistic picture of where teams will end up thus giving a more accurate mock draft. Lets see what the end of year standings will be as of Week 14 (note: this is updated weekly!)
1. Indianapolis (They get to 1-15, just enough to avoid the ignonimy of a winless season but still good/bad enough to claim Luck)
2. St. Louis (2-14, what happened?)
3. Minnesota (2-14, With a tough schedule I still don't see them winning another game)
4. Miami (4-12, showed glimpses, but needed a whole lot Moore (get it, aaah forget it))
5. Tampa Bay (4-12, a tougher schedule led to a very disappointing result, coach now on the hot seat)
6. Cleveland (4-12, this was actually expected)
7. Jacksonville (5-11, Jack Del Rio is gone and the rebuild starts for the Jags)
8. Washington (5-11, yes Shanahan we are looking at you!)
9. Buffalo (6-10, what started so well ended in tragedy)
10. Carolina (6-10, eh, probably better than expected, now the Panthers can go get a receiver for Cam)
11. Kansas City (6-10, Todd Haley is gone and the rebuild starts again for the Chiefs)
12. Seattle (7-9, some good play mixed with bad got them the same result as last year but without the playoff berth)
13 Oakland (7-9, Injuries cruelled what should’ve been a division title)
14. Arizona (8-8, a slow start to the year but started to look really good by year’s end – a good draft could lead to more permanent results)
15 Dallas (8-8, One word – Romo… or should that be Garrett?)
16. Philadelphia (8-8, bye bye Andy and the dream team)
17. Tennessee (9-7, had their chances but not quite up to the task)
18. Detroit (9-7, Lions miss the playoffs despite going above .500 for the first time in a long time)
19. San Diego (9-7, finally a good start to the year ruined by a terrible middle, might be the end of Norv Turner - or could just be the reason to move to LA, or both!)
20. Cincinnati (9-7, this one bites, Cincy miss the playoffs by one win)
21. NY Giants (9-7, crawl into the playoffs and exit first round to Atlanta)
22. Chicago (9-7, probably could've done better but for the fact Cutler and Forte didn't get back on the field in time)
23. Houston (11-5, an easy schedule but no Matt Schaub means no Superbowl appearance for the luckless Texans)
24. Denver (11-5, the Tebow era starts magnificently until they run into the eventual AFC Champions)
25. NY Jets (10-6, sexy Rexy & the Sanchize do it again, but this time fall one short of the championship game)
26. SF 49ers (11-5, This team came so close to knocking off the best team in football, but didn't)
27. Atlanta (11-5, despite beating the Saints in New Orleans late in the regular season they can’t replicate it in the playoffs)
28 New England (12-4, had a chance to go all the way but ran into a stiff Baltimore side who truly believe this is their time)
29 New Orleans (12-4, last year's winners vs the year before, awesome game but Packers win it)
30 Pittsburgh (13-3, they come up against the Ravens again but this time can't beat them, that makes it 3 straight for Baltimore against their arch-rival)
31 Baltimore (12-4, it would've been a big upset but they came close in a beauty of a Superbowl)
32 Green Bay (16-0, they win it again, ARod unstoppable, first team to go 19-0)
